Dangerous Synthetic Drug Investigation Safety Course (16 hrs)
This innovative course covers the latest safety information on some of the newest and most dangerous synthetic Opioid combinations including Fentanyl, Carfentanil and U4 “Grey Death Drug”. This course delivers safety procedures as well as immediate first aid for our officers, suspects, as well as self medical treatment.
Our instructors Gary Schell, Larry Plotkin and Brian Atkinson have the combined experience in working over 70 years in law enforcement in special narcotic response teams and/or emergency medical response teams . Emergency Medical Service Instructors will demonstrate the use of Narcan as well as the latest information on the life saving Drug.
Students will learn the latest investigative techniques and safety training for suspected Opioid Overdose incidents as well as Excited Delirium. This is a great chance for your Patrol Officers, Special Investigations and/or Drug Investigators to get the latest on the safety procedures, when operating in these potentially deadly environments.
